Bill has a deep sense of calling to preach and pastor, and he has served at Salem Church since 2019. Bill formerly served as pastor of Grace Presbyterian Church in Starkville, MS 2012–2019, as pastor to English speaking people among the Amigos en Cristo Church in Cotacachi, Ecuador 2010–2011, as church planter and pastor of Harbor Church, PCA in Mooresville, NC from 1995-2009, and as assistant pastor at First Presbyterian Church, Macon, GA 1991–1995.
Bill is a graduate of Davidson College and Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia. Bill received a certificate in counseling from the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation, Philadelphia.
Bill and his wife, Sydney, have three grown daughters. Bill’s favorite avocations include percussion, music composition, boating and walking in the woods with their dog Franklin. Sydney enjoys art, museums, and time with her daughters.
